Buttercream Bakery Cupcake Catch Up

It's cupcake time again and I have packed this post with as many cupcake pictures as I think you can possible stand in one hit.

First up is another Miniature Patisserie Cupcake...

I absolutely love making these little window shop patisserie scenes so I am delighted the response to them has been so fantastic. Something tells me I will be making variations on this theme for some time.

Raspberry Cheesecake Cupcakes

Our Raspberry Cheesecake Cupcakes are a light vanilla sponge cake filled with strawberry jam, iced with cream cheese frosting and sprinkled with digestive biscuit crumb.

I have had some fantastic new chocolate moulds to play with, courtesy of

I absolutely love these message labels....

The 'Eat Me' labels are a big favourite of mine but with one mould you can make labels in two different sizes and with various text, including Happy Birthday, With Love, & Handmade for you.  The label mould also makes blank labels without text.

These adorable chocolate puppies are also made using a chocolate mould from

This particular mould will not be available for another two weeks, so I'm rather privileged to have one in my possession.

So cute!

I have big plans for my chocolate moulds, if I'm going to buy moulds, I like to get some serious use out of them.  With that in mind everyone will have chocolate tags on everything this Christmas. I've already sourced some tiny little cellophane bags to put them in. I also have a larger version of the label/tag mould that makes labels in almost chocolate bar size, big enough to hang from a jar.

I'm really enjoying working more with chocolate and have been making some adorable things, including mini cupcake shaped chocolate.  I will post those at the beginning of next week, I think you're going to love them.

I have just placed an order with for a some more chocolate moulds, including Eiffel Towers, which I cannot wait to get my hands on.

The little buttons above are also made using a Silicone Moulds chocolate mould.

I've even made some of the little labels in fondant and they came out beautifully.

You can keep up to date with all the goings on at Silicone Moulds via their facebook page: SiliconeMoulds

I will definitely be posting pictures of chocolate Eiffel Towers very soon and Sarah-Jane (owner and creator at Silicone Moulds), is also sending me some examples of her new range of chocolate transfers, so I can't wait to have a play around with those.

Glorious Chocolate Oreo Cupcake

This cupcake just looks epic! The Silky Smooth Milk Chocolate Frosting you can see peeping out under all that yummy Oreo crumb, is one of the best frostings in history.

Salted Caramel Cupcake

Our Salted Caramel Cupcakes are probably my favourite cupcake of all time.  The caramel sponge cake is filled with Salted Caramel, iced with Buttery Salted Caramel Frosting and drizzled with even more Salted Caramel.  They are absolutely heavenly.

Mini Chocolate Cupcake with Marshmallow Frosting

I absolutely love this mallowy, billowing, pure white frosting. It is absolutely delicious and looks gorgeous too.
